Butlins has always been special to our family—

 

We first started visiting in the early 1980s, and our holidays were filled with laughter, fun, and memories we've never forgotten .

 

Truly magical moments, we never wanted to leave and would hide from our parents, hoping we could stay just a little longer.

 

Even now, it remains a big part of our lives, with family still coming together at Butlins to make new memories. There used to be seventeen of us-now there are many more of us.

​

My late Uncle Chris, brought so much fun to our holidays with his unforgettable antics. He even had his own red coat and would proudly pretend to be a real Redcoat and was renowned for showing other guests magic tricks.

 

Chris's great sense of fun clearly runs in the family—his son, my cousin Stephen, went on to become “Redcoat Magic” and has since performed to packed-out audiences across all three Butlins sites his dad was so very proud of him, we all are.
 

There’s always something going on—from live shows and entertainment to swimming, arcades, and family fun throughout the day.

 

Whether it’s buckets and spades on the beach or enjoying the fair,  an evening in Reds or Centre stage, Butlins is a place where special memories are made again and again.
